YOUR-FREEDOM ON PC AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2011 UPDATES (MTN) !!!
1.you need to register account with your-freedom,its free to register, to open your account now, CLICK HERE
A message will be sent to ur email.
please make sure u remember your username n password.
it is better that you use your email id to register.
2. CLICK HERE to download your-freedom client software:
3. Install this software. After installation two window pops up. Just close
the WELCOME page and continue with the other one.
4. Click on "CONFIGURE". A new window pops out
5.Under server Address use:ems01.your-freedom.de
Go to "protocol" and click on the box. Change it to "HTTPS", the port
automatically change to 443. then go to the proxy settings and make sure its blank.
6. Tick/check the following boxes:
a. automatically connect on start up
b. reconnect after server shutdown
c. redirect SOCKS4/5 DNS to freedom server
d. Enable encryption & thick use True SSL
Leave the others.
7. Go to "Account Information" tab. Input the Username and password u used
on step one above.
8.and then ok
9. Look under and click on the tab "Save and Exit".This window disappears.
10. Go to the Your-freedom client window again and click on the tab
"Ports". Tick/check/mark the boxes:
SOCKS 4/4 and Web Proxy.
Then again click on message tab and select auto scroll and on the drop down window,select Debug
11. Go to the tab "Applications" and mark/tick.check all the needed boxes.
Hit the "OK" when u are done. U should get a successful message.
12. Go back to the tab "Status". In the interim just minimise this window.
We shall get back to it.
13. Now this is very important. Launch ur Browser.
For Firefox(Mozilla) brower:
Go to: Tools---Options----Advanced---Network---Settings.
In the settings mark the box "Manual proxy configuration.
Under HTTP Proxy use: 127.0.0.1 Port: 8080.
Mark/tick/check the box " use this proxy server for all protocols".
After this just go down and click "OK".
For Internet explorer:
Got to: Tools---Internet Options---Connections---Settings
Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080
and then click ok..
FOR THE ETISALAT:
Server adrress: mobile.etisalat.com.ng
port: 80
connection mode: http
then
click on proxy settings
proxy address: 85.214.22.104
port: 80
then save and exit

After the installation of the software,launch it.click
the left upper button of the phone to display
menu,select Tools,then settings and finally
Network.scroll down to the additional server,On the
first box,key in(10.199.212.2),on the second box,i.e
the port(8080),on the third box,i.e the username
(web),then the fourth box,i.e the password(web).Scroll
down to opera mini server and key in this
(10.199.212.8@80.232.117.10:80)
unthick the box 'reset a server at an error', then
thick the box 'FTP-links.unthick all other boxes
except ftp-link.and then Save.(Aditional server box
will be thick only with Nokia 3230).NOTE:While
browsing,You can use short keys such as 2-to select
up,8-to select down,4-to scroll up,6-to scroll down
and 5-as ok.(Solibay works with a phone of up to 10 mb
shared memory such as Nokia N-series,E-
series,3230,3250,6260..etc and sony ericsson:(any sony
ericsson with a camera,infrared,as well as bluetooth
is capable of runing the browser.) Also make sure that
you select mtnwap for your network.
